A repousse, relief-like brooch influenced by jewels of the Netherlands, both in its technique and decoration. It depicts a bust of a young woman in a dress with lace collar, wearing a hat with feathers. The net on her hair, the decoration of the hat, the décolletage of her dress and her brooch are coloured with bronzing.
