The arms of the cross end in a trefoiled foliage, containing two pairs of rubies and one diamond on each. The corpus is covered with white enamel on a golden base, and has a band above with the inscription INRI. On the rear side the arms of the cross are decorated with champleve enamelling of the renaissance type. The hanger consists of two elements. Both are silver, with filigree work, set with red almandine, of irregular form.
