The short foot supports a pear-shaped body, with a splaying rim. The stopper is high, blown and conical. The body is painted in blue, green, yellow, white and red, high enamel, with rosette-like pomegranates and stylised floral motifs. The neck is decorated with the Hungarian national colours and stylised flower motifs, running all round. The decoration bears the traces of historicizing, oriental style. A glass with foot in the collection of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts (Inv.No. 847), and the flask with Inv.No. 860, are decorated in the same way - the three objects probably belonged to the same set. (See the donation register of the Zay-Ugrócz Glass factory, 1896. IM Archives, KLT 144).
