The body, an upturned pear shape, stands on a foot forming a truncated cone. It has curved, faceted sides, and a pared, knobbed neck. Cut foliage decorates the whole surface, with traces of gilding. The front shows two galleys with a lighthouse, while the back depicts a dog chasing a deer. The other sides have vases with flowers. The cylindrical stopper swells at the top its tipped finial is olivine faceted. A flask of analogous shape, from around 1730, with the crowned calligraphic initials of the Waldstein-family, has been published, without catalogue number, in Cat. 1970a. The piece described above is different from its Bohemian companion only in the form of its foot.
