The short, round foot supports a flattened, ball- shaped body that continues in a spindle-shaped neck and ends in a tapering top. The stopper is hollow, onion-shaped. The top part of the body is decorated with a lambrequin-like row of seals, made of thin, scratched gold foil. The semicircular lines of the scales are emphasized by relief rows of spots. There are green spots in each scale, surmounted by a line of blue and red, and opaque white spots. The same motifs are repeated below the top rim. The stopper is decorated with circles scratched in gold foil with blue or red beads in their centre, placed between two white rows of spots.

The form and the decoration of the object follows the traditions of Renaissance-Baroque glass from Venice-Murano it was probably a part of a set, as it is proved by the glass with identical decoration, also in the collection of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts (Inv.No. 60.318).
