The uniformly ornamented boards of the red leather binding are richly gilt. Inside its frames made up of several layers of liners and filets are angels holding crowns over flowers in the squares. In the middle there is a Hungarian coat of arms with crown surrounded by leaf tendrils. The sections of the six ribbed spine have gilt corner ornaments and their middles have flower stamps. The edges of the boards are decorated with gilt rows of filets. The text body on its head and tail is punched its flyleaf is made of coloured marbled paper. There is a Batthyány bookplate on the bottom of its front paste.
