Sün Evrard designed a new exterior of grey pig skin for György Somlyó’s book Parisiensis. What makes it unique are the coloured leather strips in the shape of pussywillow front and back. The black whole-leather case is lined in velour.

The soft board of the full pigskin binding is made up of two layers of leather, which is dyed grey. The middle of the front and back board is decorated with nine horizontal strings of varying lengths, composed of pigskin strips of a variety of colours and lengths, glued to the boards and connected with stitches of threads in different colours. A thin wooden stick runs along the inside of the front edge of each board, touching the text block, sewn to the board with colour thread. The entire surface of the spine bears blind-stamped vertical lines, which extend to the boards as well. The book comes with a protective cover with a whole leather binding and grey suede lining, with the inscription ‘Parisiens’ printed in silver on the spine.
