The paper binding imitates cotton, enriched with white, black and gold. The frame and central decoration of the front plate is emphasized by the stamping of the paper plate. The middle of the black and gold foliate frame shows a lobed ornament, bearing the title of the book. The typography follows the letter of old manuscripts, with medieval motifs between the letters: birds with flower stems, a hand rose in blessing, and griffins with human heads. The central ornament is topped with a ribbon plait, with stylised palmets and cross motifs alternating in its round compartments. The spine of the book is light brown leather, divided into compartments of various sizes by decorated with band-like plaited ornaments. The middle field shows plants in arches, the two side ones present two variations of Christ's initials. The narrow compartments in between are bearing the title of the book. The back is only decorated with gold the inside of the frame, resembling the coverplate, is filled with a network of stylised foliage, revealing the coat of arms of Svenigorodskoi (?), among flowery tendrils, in lobed fields. The endpaper shows an alternating, polychrome, geometrical patter over golden base, influenced by cloisonné enamel technique. The headband is red, blue, black and white. The edges are enriched with a network of stylised, red and gold palmets, with two blue geometrical stripes on the sides.
