The rectangular body, surrounded by walls on three sides, stands on four lathe-turned legs. There is a glass cupboard with two doors in the middle of the back wall, with a counter table starting from it on both sides. Twelve drawers with small knob pulls are placed above each counter. To the left, stairs lead up to a shelved gallery floor. There is a protruding cresting in the middle of the top, flanked by scrolls.
According to the former owner, Mrs K. Horvath, a pharmacist, the piece was regarded a model for a chemist's shop in her family. However, the interior with the drawers seems to contradict this view, since the back and side walls of pharmacies were usually equipped with shelves. Regarding the structure and appearance of the object, it is likely to be a toy.
