The decoration runs along three sides of the linen. The longer sides are trimmed with curving needle lace, Double-eagles, leaping figures and a male figure in a sort of knickerbockers alternate in the curves. Similar patterns of male-figures in fashionable clothes can be found in the lace-pattern book of Cesare Vecellio (Corona delle nobili et virtuose donne. Libro 5. 1956, No. 120/a). The shorter side of the linen is decorated with inserted drawn thread-work, with rich figural motifs rare in Renaissance lace among the numerous stylized or real coats of arms we find castles, birds drinking the water of a fountain and male figures. The following coats of arms appear on the decoration:

1. An oval shield, per fess, with a fleur-de-lis in the chief, supported by the inscription LULI 1605 on each side (hardly illegible), and with five pales in the base.

2. An oval shield, per fess with a lion rampant in the chief and three bends in the base.

3. An oval shield, per fess, with a double-headed eagle in the chief and four bends in the base.

4. Identical with the third shield, except that there are only three bends in the base.

5. An oval shield, per fess, with a lion rampant in the chief and the letter W in the base.

6. An oval shield, per fess, with a crowned dragon holding a leaved bough in its right in the chief, and four bends in the base. The lace trimming of the shorter sides is identical with that of the longer ones.
