The beaker stands on three ball feet. The splaying cylindrical body is rounded at the bottom it is decorated with three oval medallions, containing repousse portraits of emperors, shown in profile. The portraits are surmounted by the inscription TITVS / VESPAS, LYSI: / MA: REX, DEMET: / SOTER. There are war badges between the medal-lions. The domed cover is again chased with war badges the egg-shaped finial springs from six flower petals. The outside rim of the cover fits on the top of the beaker. The maker's and city’s mark appear both on the bottom.
