The baluster-shaped legs end in claw feet at the front they are joined by plain stretchers at the sides. The vertical arm pilaster is turned the horizontal arm supports are straight and plain. The seat and the back support are upholstered, with a rectangular shape, and carved and gilded leaf-motifs along the edges. On the back are the arms - probably engraved later - of Pope Clement XI. (Giovanni Francesco Albani, born in 1649, Pope between 1700-1721) and also the initials PAV. The companion piece is not among the exhibited pieces it shows the same coats of arms and is marked RC (Inv. No. 62.1977.2.).
