A parrot standing on a branch, eating fruits its feathers and the fruits are enamelled in white. Below its feet, there is a pyramidal diamond among the tendrils of the branch. The neckband of the bird is enriched with a ruby. The pendant is suspended on a double-chain, with three pearls hanging down from the bottom. The reverse of the piece - contrary to Renaissance jewellery - is without any decoration.
Parrot pendants were fairly popular among Renaissance jewels.
