The mortar is round and bell-shaped its bottom part is divided into circles slightly narrowing above the rim. On both sides there is a high-relief decoration of a lion's head in a round field. The handles are curved, resembling griffin heads. On the narrow horizontal band there is stylized foliage decoration in relief, surmounted by five narrow horizontal ribs. The rim is splayed.
