Fan with case

Of the sticks only the right-hand guard-stick is embellished: it is carved and pierced, and exhibits bouquets of roses bound together by lily of the valley. On it, placed on a rounded shield pointed at the bottom, is a five-pointed coronet and the monogram SZB (Szabo Berta, i.e. Berta Szabo). On the top of the fan-box, which is rounded at the corners, the monogram and coat of arms are repeated in a larger size.
