The lower and upper edges of the embossed and gilded paper leaf are adorned with a row of grooved rings, and, between the three cartouches dividing up the leaf, by a scalloped Rococo flower design. In the cartouches, each of which has a double frame, scenes are depicted. In the middle, on a small island, is a Rococo company on a picnic: three ladies are feeding a parrot perched in a tree, while their young man on bended knee offers a glass to them. On the left two children are playing with a cat in the park of a country house, while on the right a young couple are sitting next to water. On the verso, in a circular field, two winged putti are making a bow. The sticks are embellished with festoons of branches and leaves.
