The long, rectangular, lined door fitting is pierced with five aster stems above each other. The bottom panel is silvered at the place of the blossoms. There is a keyhole on the right, rounded off protruding part, and a hole for the door knob. The door fittings by Theodore Lambert were purchased by the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts at the 1900 Paris International Exhibition, together with an armchair (Inv.No. 5923) and a shelf (Inv.No. 5404). The latter has a pierced decoration similar to those on the panels. The series was already exhibited at the 1899 Paris Salon.
