The carpet presents the picture of the 100 rubel Russian note, in brown on a greyish beige back-ground. The number 100 is orange, while the date 1888 is blue. The greyish beige main stripe of the border is enriched with a brown garland, with blue and orange flowers. This carpet is a curiosity concerning its decoration, and was made for western export.
