Sándor Nagy's drawing shows two combined, decorative butterflies facing each other. It was published as a tail-piece in the periodical Magyar Iparművészet (Hungarian Applied Arts). It resembles the connected, geometrical network on the carpet designs in Mintalapok (Pattern of Ornaments) and also recalls Japanese art, the positive-negative, black-and-white fading and flat ornaments of Japanese stencils.
