The console table stands on two cabriole legs that are headed by naturalistic rose motifs. The semi-circular top is jointed in a curve. The mirror forms a standing rectangle at die top, there is a cresting jointed in a semicircle, pierced and carved with flower, leaf and scroll motifs. Console tables and mirrors showing Rococo elements were frequent among the furniture of the age they were usually placed between two windows in the drawing rooms. This set, just like Cat.No. 42., used to belong to the dowry of Paulina Roffi Borbély.
