The oval box is ribbed, with a wavy rim on the bowl and the cover. The finial of the cover is a relief, polychrome fruit with leaves. The bowl and cover are painted with large bunches of fruit on the longer and with smaller ones on the shorter sides, with a purple rose and other flowers, and with small, scattered flowers painted in purple, green, yellow, blue and iron-red. The faience works of Stomfa used local clay and quartz of excellent quality; the painting shows the influence of Holies. Marked on the bottom: T, twined with and S, in cobalt.
